PT. XL Axiata Tbk (XL) is about to welcome the new batch of XL Future Leaders Students, and this year Makassar had been chosen to be the first city to hold the roadshow event, XLFL Day Batch 5 Makassar.

XL Axiata is proudly kicking-off its very first Digital Leaders Competition with the theme of “Smart Digitizing Your City”. This competition aims to facilitate fresh innovations from university students to develop game-changing ideas as we see everyday cities are building new infrastructure, creating sustainability plans, and developing avant-garde technology.

Turina Farouk’s drive, passion and clarity of vision make her admired in marketing and communication world. ‘Ms Turina’ as we usually like to call her is a fun, flexible, and fearless lady. She likes traveling, and whenever someone asks her holiday plan, she beckons by using international code number, such as going to 045 when she plans to go to Denmark, or going to 01 to the United States. On each long week end, you can always assume that she will never be at the same place.

Ompusunggu is the recipient of Whitley Fund for Nature awards and is widely recognized for her astonishing work in preserving the health, livelihood, and environment in Kalimantan.

Every year more than 8 million people die from cancer. On February 4 individuals from every corner of the earth unite for World Cancer Day, a day devoted to recognizing cancer. Cancer has long been known as a disease that could hit anyone regardless skin color, economic status and gender. Raising awareness and promoting healthier lifestyle are then essential to prevent cancer, for ourselves and others.
