Team ARISTOTELL Received Awards
Four XL Future Leaders students received awards from Universitas Gadjah Mada for their XLFL Social Innovation Project named ARISTOTELL. Those four students are XLFL Batch 3 alumni (they just graduated last month) and UGM students, they are Ninda Frisky, Risqi Faris, Faisal Sya’bani and Devlin Saleh. The reception night of Malam Penghargaan Insan UGM Berprestasi 2016 was held on Wednesday, 14 December 2016 in Grha Sabha Pramana, UGM Yogyakarta.
UGM acknowledged their effort to introduce a fun and interactive way to learn history through ARISTOTELL. ARISTOTELL, or Augmented Reality for History Telling, is a social innovation project initiated by XLFL students as part of their capstone project. Combining art, technology and history, ARISTOTELL successfully gained attention from public, government, and also education institution. As an application, the beta version can be downloaded on Playstore and users can try it out in Vredeburg Museum, Yogyakarta.
Prior to this award, ARISTOTELL was also named as the best Social Innovation Project 2016 in the category of Art, Culture, and Tourism. On November 2016, they presented the idea to prominent judges during XL Future Leaders National Conference 2016 and received positive feedback in their initiative. ARISTOTELL victorious moments are the result of their high commitment, hard work, and in-depth research.
