 Started from Historical and Contemporary Leadership values we discussed during Workshop 4 and 5 in XL Future Leaders class, we realized that understanding the value is not enough, most important is application. How we bring the value of Leadership we learn from the historical and contemporary leaders into real action really matter. Even  if it started with small and simple action, counted.

This month, we had a very interesting challenge for the workshop, we were challenged to present Ted style talk. If PechaKucha was a group assignment (did you guys read Claristy’s write up on this?), TED^X Talks is the opposite of that, it’s a one-man-show challenge with XLFL taste obviously. You can imagine how nervous we were, especially myself. But in this opportunity, I’m not going to tell you about my TED^x Talks experience, I think somebody else will write it up later for you.

This month, XL Future Leaders Batch 3 are doing TedTalks style presentation on their workshop. The module is aimed to enhance their critical thinking skills as well as effective communication. Below is a write-up by Jakarta-2 student, Adrian Reynaldo Sudirman from Universitas Indonesia.

XLFL workshop is full of great experience. Since the first time I had the workshop, there has been many of great speaker from various background shared their expertise, passion, experience and knowledge. We have aspiring speaker from UNICEF, Boards director of XL, US embassy, come to our workshop and inspire us to the things that they have done in life.

PT. XL Axiata Tbk (XL) berkomitmen dalam mendukung peningkatan dunia pendidikan di Indonesia melalui program XL Future Leaders. Konsistensi dalam upaya ini dibuktikan dengan banyaknya kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan secara mandiri oleh para peserta dari XL Future Leaders tersebut. Salah satunya adalah kegiatan yang bernama ‘Bawean Membaca’, kegiatan ini diinisiasi oleh XL Future Leaders kelas Surabaya Batch 3.

XL Future Leaders Care to share di SDN 01 TambakWedi, Surabaya

Menjadi bagian dari sesuatu yang besar adalah suatu kebanggaan. Itulah yang saya rasakan sewaktu tahu lolos seleksi di program pengembangan kepemimpinan XL Future Leaders yang di inisiasi oleh Pak hasnul suhaemi, CEO XL Axiata.

Ramadhan phase is one of the events that we eagerly awaited and not letting it passes by. Usually, we love to gather to break the fast or iftar with family and friends. Therefore, XL Future Leaders initiated to celebrate Ramadhan that will strengthen our bond as a big family with an event called BEKASI CERAH.
