XL Future Leaders National Conference 2015 : 3 Days to Forever

For the fourth time in four consecutive years, XL Axiata held its signature annual leadership conference, XL Future Leaders National Conference on 13 – 15 November 2015. The highly energetic event was conducted in order to celebrate the graduation of the participants XL Future Leaders Batch 2 at the same time to welcome the participants XL Future Leaders Batch 4 generation. XL Future Leaders in the fourth year managed to attract more than 16,000 applicants from various universities in Indonesia, from Aceh to Papua.

XLFL National Conference brings together undergraduate students from across the country for a series of presentations, war game, discussion, as well as graduation and welcoming ceremony. The event was attended by many prominent individuals such as Rudiantara – Minister of Communications and Information, Dian Siswarini – President Director of XL Axiata, Datin Sri Badrunnisa Mohd Yasin Khan – Group Chief Talent Officer and Rohaiza Ahmad – Head Corporate Responsibility of Group Talent Man from Axiata.

The spectacular weekend was kicked off with two main challenges, which are Lead Indonesia and Roar Indonesia for Batch 2 and Batch 4 respectively. The challenges were designed to enhance students’ critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. Videos below captured the enthusiasm of XLFL students in completing the challenge.

The ceremony on Sunday, November 15th was also the day for an award reception, as there were 3 teams in each challenge that awarded as best performing team. The event was closed with a heartwarming graduation ceremony for 120 students in the Batch 2. The graduation participants in the second batch is expected to increase the number of talented young Indonesian to compete in the entrepreneurial world both locally and internationally. Over the three-day conference, all participants and XL team have completed higher milestones and it successfully strengthening the bonding of XL Future Leaders family.
